Rep. Rouda Statement on Face Covering Requirement

LAGUNA BEACH, CA – Congressman Harley Rouda (CA-48) issued the following statement regarding Governor Gavin Newsom's decision to require face coverings in public spaces.

"Face coverings are a common-sense and cost-effective tool to combat COVID-19 and safely reopen our economy,” said Rouda. "They give the vast majority of us the freedom to safely return to our lives. They allow small business owners to keep their lights on and retain employees on their payroll. Masks are critical to protecting Orange County's health, economy, and way of life.”
