Rep. Rouda, Joined by 34 Freshman Members of Congress, Sends Bipartisan Letter Requesting COVID-19 Supplemental Funding
Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Harley Rouda, joined by 34 freshman Members of Congress, sent a bipartisan letter to House and Senate leadership requesting comprehensive supplemental funding to address the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
"I have seen first-hand the chaos created by disjointed government responses to COVID-19," said Rouda. "My constituents and families across the country deserve a united, well-funded, rapid, and science-based response to this emerging public health threat. I thank my colleagues on both sides of the aisle for joining me in requesting the resources necessary to empower state and local officials who are on the front lines of fighting COVID-19."
